Paddle with the Penguins

Join us on a leisurely one-hour paddle as we explore the rocky pools and outcrops of boulders beach to see the Penguins up close and personal, in their natural environment.
For many people visiting Cape Town it is possibly the only time in their lives they will have a chance of seeing a Penguin in the wild. We have designed this trip to give people a more complete and memorable experience of the Penguins instead of fighting for space on a crowded Boardwalk.
By using two man inflatable canoes we ensure that anyone is able to participate in this fun activity. The trip also covers only a short distance so the emphasis is on going slowly, relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.
Starting the trip at Seaforth Beach, where there are ample changing facilities, we will make our way into the crystal waters, weaving between the boulder outcrops stopping to learn about the penguins and watch them as they “fly” through the water or waddle over the rocks.
We will arrive on the southern side of boulders to enjoy refreshments on the grassy banks. Once again there are toilet facilities and parking for coaches.
The trip can be run in one hour if there are time constraints.
