Volkswagen- Bikes and Boats

The way Volkwagen usually puts it: “For the love of the car.” The way this group put it: “For the love of bikes and boats.” It was an afternoon packed with action, as they first set off on a Powerboat ride around the magical Hout Bay… followed by a breathtaking tour along one of the worlds most scenic drives, Chapmans Peak. The best part- they got to experience it on land and in the ocean.

Vodacom 2- Crazy Olympics at Century City Clubhouse

Part two of the Crazy Olympics team build continued, as the Vodacom team put on their beautiful full-body lycras and displayed their acrobatics for all to admire. Judging by these photos it truly was a day to remember. Everyone got in on the action, completing activities ranging from paddling on the canal to cake decorating. It was truly a day for everyone…enjoyed by everyone!

Old Mutual- Urban Adventure

One can see from these photos that this Old Mutual group made the most of this Urban Adventure team build. The Mother city is a place waiting to be discovered as each team located a Spice shop in the Bo-Kaap, the company gardens, the Taj Hotel, the Slave lodge and the famous flower sellers on Adderley Street. Each checkpoint was either a challenge intellectually or physically as they got stuck into solving puzzles or stomping to the gumboot dance. All in all… a team build enjoyed by everyone!

Vodacom 1- Crazy Olympics at Century City Clubhouse

The Vodacom group got ready for some crazy action, crazy war cries and crazy activities as they prepared to compete in an Olympic style stand off! It started with candy floss and popcorn on arrival~ some extra sugar and energy for the day ahead! The teambuild definitely showed signs of spirit and enthusiasm at each checkpoint and to top it off… the group ended with a fantastic spit braai at the clubhouse.

Old Mutual- Sante Survivor Teambuild & Orienteering

“Outwit. Outplay. Outlast” was the key to the Old Mutual team build at Sante Resort in Paarl. One can clearly see that each team got stuck into the action and prepared to rough it, Survivor style. The magnificent resort proved to be the perfect location as each member orientated their way around, looking for the giant puzzle pieces. Blind soccer, giant sack races and Haka style war cries added a fun & dynamic element to the team build.

World play group- Hout Bay Powerboats

The Worldplay group arrived in Hout Bay ready for some revved up horse power as they jumped in the Powerboats and set off into the Horizon as they headed to Dungeons, Chapmans Peak (via the sea), the shipwrecks and seals, receiving plenty of sea breeze and spray along the way. Whats great is that each group that gets off a powerboat trip is grinning… from ear to ear! A truly adrenalin pumping adventure!

Kyocera- Chauffeur driven Harley Davidsons and Winelands Cycle.

The Kyocera team had two days on two wheels… Day one was the bicycles and Day two was the Harley Davidson, both highly enjoyed. The more leisurely option- the Winelands cycle- took the team on an hours ride through the scenic Franschhoek vineyards. The adrenalin pumping option- the Harley Davidsons- took the group on a beautiful coastal tour via Camps Bay and Chapmans Peak. Option one or two you might say? I’d say best of both worlds!

A perfect activity for the perfect day. The Dimension Data team took off on a sunny day from Camps Bay, either hopping in a Harley or Jumping in a Jeep. With the sound of 44 Harleys and 10 Jeeps revving in the background, it was bound to get onlookers wondering what was happening. They set off along the majestic coastline of Camps Bay, Chapmans Peak and making a round trip via Noordhoek and Constantia. The day epitomized the slogan of Harley Davidson “Live to Ride”- and they sure did!

Close Asset Management- Powerboats

The Close Asset Management team put on their wind breakers, held on tight and prepared for the fresh sea breeze to flow through their hair as they boarded the Powerboats. There were many thrills and spills (of water) as the three boats paced around Hout Bay, passing the notorious Dungeons along the way. Seals, shipwrecks and sandy bays were just a few of the highlights the team managed to take a glimpse at. The best part… everyone came off the boat with a smile!
